Independent planning guide

Start with the details that make an Oktoberfest enquiry useful.

Whether you are planning for a group, a couple or a solo trip, a clear first brief makes it easier to review what could be relevant. This guide is not a booking offer and does not confirm availability.

Festival dates

Choose dates with flexibility in mind.

  • 2026: Saturday 19 September to Sunday 4 October. Late enquiries may have very limited possibilities.
  • 2027 planning range: Saturday 18 September to Sunday 3 October. Check the official Oktoberfest website before treating future dates as final.

Include every date that could work. More flexibility can make an enquiry easier to assess, but it never guarantees an option.

Before you enquire

Bring a simple planning brief.

Dates and timing

Choose the dates that could work and whether lunch, evening or either would suit your plans.

Party size

Give an approximate number of travellers and, for larger parties, the expected number of tables if known.

Useful context

Share flexibility, a preferred tent if you have one, or any detail that helps explain the request. Do not include payment-card, passport or sensitive information.

After you enquire

A personal review before any introduction.

We review the details you submit. If an independent provider may be relevant, you are told who it is and what information would be shared before any introduction is made.
